Senior Accountant

Position Overview

The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the financial integrity of the organization through

accurate reporting, analysis, and process ownership.

This role plays a key part in maintaining strong financial controls, improving reporting visibility, and

supporting operational leaders with timely and reliable financial insight. The Senior Accountant will

partner closely with Finance leadership and cross functional teams to ensure financial processes align

with company growth and field execution.

This is a hands-on role that requires both technical accounting strength and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Assist with month end and year end close processes

Maintain general ledger accuracy and supporting schedules

Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

Support job costing and project based financial tracking

Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations

Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

Support audit preparation and external reporting needs

Monitor and improve accounting processes and workflows

Partner with operations, HR, and leadership on financial data needs

Assist with cash flow tracking and expense monitoring

Support implementation of financial systems and process improvements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

5+ years of progressive accounting experience

Construction or project-based accounting experience preferred

Strong understanding of GAAP principles

Experience with job costing strongly preferred

Advanced Excel skills required

ERP system experience preferred

CPA or CPA track is a plus
